Our guiding services
We know our waters – and we go where the fish are. Depending on the area and season, we fish using spin fishing, vertical jigging, or trolling, supported by the latest generation of high-resolution fish finders.

The special feature of Mien: Here live Exceptionally dark, almost black perch and pike – a coloration found in only a very few waters. Fishing methods include jigging, rig fishing, and finesse techniques; most large pike are caught as bycatch while perch fishing.

This is how your guiding day goes
Between 6 and 8 hours on the water – flexible depending on the weather, target fish, and feeding times. That's what your day with us will look like.
1. Personal vote
We will contact you at least two days in advance: meeting point, start time, target fish, rental equipment and catering will be determined together.
2. Out to the precinct
The guide reads the weather and sonar data and heads to the spots where the fish are.
3. Fishing & Technique
The guide recommends what works best at the moment – you decide. Targeted learning of a specific technique is also possible.
4. Shared lunch break
A small lunch is included – we'll schedule the break flexibly, as a good biting phase shouldn't be interrupted.
5. Second Session
Back to the best spots – depending on the feeding time, either early in the morning or into the evening.

Not necessarily. Rental equipment (rod, reel, and line) is included in the guided trip at no extra charge – simply let the guide know in advance, and it will be ready for you on the boat. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own equipment.
No, you bring your own lures, leaders, and tackle. If you don't have the right equipment, you can order a lure package from us in advance (approx. SEK 500) – tailored to your target fish, body of water, and season – and your guide will bring it with them on the day. Damaged or lost rental lures will be replaced. Your guide will support you on the water with their experience.
A guided fishing day lasts between 6 and 8 hours, including a shared lunch break. We will contact you at least two days before the guided trip to arrange the meeting point and start time – depending on the weather, target fish, and feeding times, this could be early in the morning or late in the evening.
Yes. Our guides adapt to every skill level – from the first cast to fine-tuning for experienced predator anglers. If you'd like to learn a specific technique, just let us know in advance.
A maximum of 2 guests per boat – this ensures enough time and space for everyone. Larger groups are divided among several boats with their own guides, sailing in parallel.
Guests without a holiday home booking pay an additional fee of SEK 500 per guiding session. The guiding fee is due upon booking; in combination with a holiday home, the following house rules apply: 1/3 deposit upon booking, balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
Good rain gear, sturdy footwear, sunscreen, a water bottle, non-alcoholic drinks, and your lures are essential. Life jackets are provided by the guide and must be worn on board throughout the entire guided trip. Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the guided trip. Please inform us of any food intolerances for lunch in advance.
Depending on the area: zander on Lake Tiken, perch and large pike on Lake Mien, all three species on Lake Åsnen – and in the archipelago of the Baltic Sea, only pike. Catch and release is the rule on our guided trips: the fish swim back to maintain healthy fish populations.
